Pat Schermerhorn has been using this neo-impressionistic technique of applying tiny dots of color to the canvas, called pointillism for many years. She also works in other mediums but this is her favorite. She loves how the points of color appear to blend together to make other colors and form shapes and outlines. She has lived in Cody for the past five years, moving here from North Dakota. She loves the mountains, wildlife, and skies of Wyoming and has a studio at Stone Soup Studios. Pat is a member of the Cody Country Art League, Women Artists of the West, Western Heritage Artists and the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies.
